National Newspapers of Ireland

National Newspapers of Ireland (NNI) is the representative body for Ireland's national newspapers and Irish editions of UK national newspapers. The 18 member titles in NNI are:

NNI was set up in 1985 to promote the newspaper medium and to work on a range of professional and public policy issues that affect the industry.

At the NNI table members are encouraged to put aside their individual competitive agendas and draw on the strength of acting as a collective group to inform the public, and in particular advertisers and readers, of the power of press.

The NNI Management Committee makes collective decisions for all 18 titles and currently comprises of the following:

From offices at Clyde Lodge, 15 Clyde Road, Dublin 4 Co-ordinating Director Frank Cullen has overall day-to-day responsibility for NNI and is supported by:

NNI represents member titles on matters that affect the industry and campaigns on their behalf to effect change. In this regard NNI encourages good relations with a variety of professional bodies and maintains a number of affiliations including active participation in the following:
